During this episode we talk to Tobie Openshaw, a 25-year resident of Taiwan, who has conducted anthropological research on the indigenous culture. Openshaw has edited the new book by Brill Publishing: Seeking the Koko’ Ta’ay: Investigating the Origins of Little People Myths in Taiwan and Beyond. We talk about ghost stories, folklore, the origins of the Taiwanese indigenous peoples. We also talk about his documentary work for National Geographic and the Discovery Channel.
