Born from an immigrant woman in the USA, Jorge Avendaño was left behind to be raised in Covina by his cousins as his mother returned to Mexico to continue to live her life without him. As time passes on and regret kicked in, his mother calls back for him. At the young age of 3, Jorge makes his journey to Mexico to be raised by his mother in the "hood of hoods" of Sinaloa, MX.
