Openshaw returns to discuss mythology and his new book. We also discuss his military experience as an explosive, ordinance, demolition (EOD) soldier. His training in the military has applications in Taiwan’s military and we learn about the dangers of explosives to soldiers and the public. He also discusses his civil defense program via the Taiwan Association for Civil Resilience and Security to help prepare for earthquakes, typhoons, and mudslides. He had completed training programs in Mountain Rescue and Basic Combat Medicine.
