Another week begins on our Life on a Mission! For those still inquiring about Cybersecurity career, I brought in a long-time friend and colleague who happens to be a successful Cybersecurity Cloud Engineer, Python programmer, Application Security Tester and wearer of many other hats in the IT field across multiple verticals: Tom McCourt (@Wookiee_ )

Much like myself, this guy Tom has had a general disdain for degrees and certifications. Though he has acquired both, his career has not been driven by paper but rather by a dedication to learning with resources like Hack the Box, udemy, Twitter feed research and (most importantly) on-the-job training. 

On this episode, we discuss the many avenues into advanced IT specializations for those willing to do the work, balancing fatherhood with the demands of the job and where we see the field going.
