We’re 0730 Media, a husband and wife wedding photography and videography team, and over the years we’ve had the chance to work alongside some incredible wedding suppliers.

One thing we’ve realised is that while couples see the final result — the photos, the flowers, the music, the venue — they rarely hear the stories behind the businesses that make it all happen.

That’s where this podcast comes in.

Each episode will feature relaxed, honest conversations with wedding vendors from across the region — including wedding photographers, videographers, DJs, wedding venues, florists, cake makers, entertainers and more.

We’ll be talking about how they got started, how they built their wedding business, the challenges they’ve faced, and what they’ve learned along the way.

We’ll also dive into the wedding industry in the UK — how it’s changed, current wedding trends, pricing pressures, and what the future of weddings might look like.

Named after a famous footballer, snooker & wrestling fan Ali, gave up teaching to follow a career in music, in particular sax.

One of the nicest guys you could ever meet, we chat to Ali about how he got into music, leaving the teaching industry, playing sax for Youtuber Angry Ginge, becoming part of a wedding show, and being spotted by a fan whilst on holiday in Japan.
