We were joined this week by Dr. Mark Ferro, Professor and Researcher out of the University of Waterloo and Canadian Research Chair in Youth Mental Health. Dr. Ferro chatted with us about how to went from an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry to a PhD in Child Psychiatry; his initial research interests in paediatric epilepsy and how that expanded into a broader analysis of the associations between physical and mental health in young people; and the importance of early, positive interventions and support for our Youth.
