Ep.5 - Make Your Network Get You a Job! Use this Technique & never worry again about finding a JOB!
Have you ever wondered how to convert your network & acquaintances into your next Job without having to go through traditional and lengthy Job Search process? WONDER NO MORE! ;)
Welcome to our 5th Episode of Happy Monday Executives, Empowering Executives in Career Transition! Make Your Network Get You a Job, it's that EASY! Use this Technique and never worry again about traditional and lengthy Job Searches & Applications.
As a start forget everything you “know” so far about this topic. Time for a fresh view to really sky rock your job search!
1st – List 15-30 people that you can think of having had a great rapport with, irrespective of what they do. Re-connect with them and find out what they are up to.
2nd – Identify a NEED, a WISH or a DESIRE that you can help solving or at least counseling them about, this will build “carrots” or if you prefer “credits”.
3rd- Agree and pre-book a follow up meeting to deepen and go about the results of the promises of the prior conversation.
4th – DON’T EVER ask for a JOB or HELP, but INSTEAD ask for ADVICE OR SUGGESTIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS.
5th- In order to organize the meeting use the “I would like to catch your brain” buzz sentence and don’t reveal the topic. Everyone likes to be an advisor and counsellor and this will make them more suscetible to schedule that conversation with you.! ;)
6th – DO NOT say “Keep me in mind”, INSTEAD ASK questions. ie. if they can think of anyone you should be reaching out to.. This will make their brain start browsing for answers, because now there was an actual QUESTION not only an statement! ;)
