In the last episode, Aui talked about moving to Australia over 20 years ago and how the building of her own family led her to recognise the dysfunction of her original one. She also shared how studying counselling led her to nursing - a career that finally felt right for her.

In this episode, we follow the work that shaped her. She talks about the tough but meaningful work of answering calls at Lifeline, the exhausting but rewarding years delivering mail as a postie, and the challenges of being a new nurse while also caring for her sick father-in-law and mother-in-law with dementia - all while dealing with the loss of her two much-loved dogs. Through it all, she worked hard to still be there for her kids.

Now, she's found her perfect fit as a nurse in interventional radiology, where she gets to do hands-on work and see results happen. Looking back, Aui believes every step - even the hard ones - brought her to where she is today.
