In this episode, we explore why relaxation doesn’t always happen the way we expect, and how trying to force relaxation can actually create more tension. You’ll learn how meditation invites you to notice what’s already present, and how allowing your experience can gently lead to a sense of ease.

This episode includes a short, guided meditation to help you practice noticing sensations in the body and allowing them to be, without trying to fix or change anything.

I’m Deb Phelps from Peaceful Wellness. I’ve been a meditation practitioner since 1980, a certified teacher, and I teach people how to meditate as well as guide those who feel called to become meditation teachers.
