The Xcerts are an alternative rock-band, initially from Aberdeen but now based in Brighton. Their new covers EP, "So No One Told You Life Was Gonna Be This Way", is available on all music streaming platforms from January 15th.

We talk with Murray Macleod about being driven from a young age, growing up in Aberdeen, looking back on "In the Cold Wind We Smile", the golden era of pop-punk, crafting "Hold Onto Your Heart" from a place of darkness, Aberdeen 1987, McLovin, "There Is Only You", living with Crohn's disease and how growing steadily as a band has impacted their creativity.
