Do you know where your ancestors came from? Josh did a genetic ancestry test a few years back and found out that he's mostly German and Irish! Taking these tests and speaking about your ancestry is a pretty common thing for Americans which is why this week, we took some time to discuss this ancestry-fascination in the U.S. and how ethnicity and racism are inherently intertwined with the topic as well. With buzz words like race and ethnicity so baked into the American vernacular, we also talked about Feli’s first interactions with these categories that are almost considered tabu in Germany.
