Though most of the Art Unknown Podcast interviews are with artists, every once in a while it becomes necessary to tap into the mind of an art influencer; to get deeper insights into the business side of art. However, to call Heidi Luerra just an influencer is a discredit to her artistic nature. Her humble beginnings in the fashion world led to a vision of creating something so unique in the arts, it is not surprising that others are excited to replicate it. With RAWartists Ms. Luerra grew a million-dollar business showcasing the work of other artists. From a single show to cities all over the world, RAWartists has exhibited tens of thousands of artists over eleven years. But like many businesses built on a live audience, the COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on their successful business model. This story is one of resilience, and what looks to be a fascinating next chapter in the life and times of RAWartist founder and CEO Heidi Luerra.
