The Beast titan throws a barrage of boulders decimating the scouts outside Shiganshina while Eren and the remaining squad face down the Colossal Titan inside. Eren is quickly incapacitated and most of the scout forces die from the artillery onslaught. Commander Erwin, facing certain death, devises a counterattack plan to sacrifice himself and the scouts so Levi can assassinate the Beast Titan.
