A late night in the Pennsylvania woods turned into a nightmare when something followed our guest home. While taking photos of items he was selling, he heard movement unlike any animal he knew. As an experienced outdoorsman familiar with the sounds of deer, raccoons, and other wildlife, these footsteps stood out as distinctly wrong. When his camera flash illuminated the darkness, the footsteps stopped momentarily before accelerating toward him.
Fleeing to the safety of his home, he thought the encounter was over—until he glimpsed movement at his back door. There, hunched down and peering at him with glowing yellow eyes, was a gray, skeletal humanoid creature. Its skin appeared sunken around the bones, giving it an emaciated appearance despite having recognizably human features.
