On today's episode, your amigos interview JP Desmet. JP is a former W2 employee turn full time real estate investor, flipper and agent. He talks through how his W2 made him realize the kind of life he did not want to live. JP started off his real estate journey by rehabbing and househacking his primary house. With the extra $30,000 he had in the bank he started flipping and raised money from close relatives to acquire 3 homes that required major renovations. He walks us through all the mistakes he made with those properties including contractors, budget and timeline.  Him and partner ended up losing $200,000 each for all 3 of those deals and ended up starting from scratch.
