EP6: Cultivating Joy and Tools That Can Help
In this episode we talk about how a strong vision can help create anything you want, and how that vision can grow and change as time goes on and get even better. We talk about the Wellness Summit that Jenna created last fall after she woke up with an idea, and how bringing these tools together to help support our bodies, and emotions was the driving force behind it, and how it has evolved into an online community that can support people around the world.We touched on:1) Following your heart and creating even when you don’t know the outcome. How a dream turned into an event that helped many, many women, and grew and changed into an online space, a Children’s Retreat and is now heading into it’s second annual run.
2) Simple tools that we all have within us that can help settle us and get grounded when things feel like they are spinning. Our breath is a powerful tool, and simply stopping when we start to spin, and taking some deep breaths can completely shift our energy. Pairing that with a grounding oil can even help more.
3) We each talked about our favourite 2 tools that help support us, and how sometimes the most powerful tools we have are within us. We advocate for finding what helps you, whether that’s seeing someone, or using simple tools like breathing and journaling. We touch on not overthinking what to do, but simply trusting, and leaning into what feels right.
