Amayi Foods is passionate about making high-quality African food more accessible, affordable and convenient by offering shelf-stable, packaged food products made using locally sourced fresh inputs, As CEO and co-founder, Kudzayi drove the set-up of the company’s production facilities, manages its day to day operations, and has led the growth of its distribution network to over 500 outlets today which includes the largest retailers and open markets in Nigeria as well as Amazon in the United States. Prior to setting up Amayi, Kudzayi headed up equity investments at Africa Finance Corporation, where she oversaw the growth of AFC’s portfolio by 270%. Previously, Kudzayi was a director at Emerging Capital Partners where she led the execution of several transactions across Africa.
She has over 20 years’ experience in banking and private equity in Africa and holds a BA from Clark University, the USA, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. More Content Like This?
