Like many, Michael Saunders started with cannabis as a young teenager, both with his older brother and as a way to self-medicate, trying to forget things in the short term while growing up in Sanford. His path took him through carpentry, a degree in psychology, and a burgeoning career in social services before he found himself working to help people with medical cannabis and opening Forest City Reserve, a medical dispensary in Lyman, Maine.
