Ghadir: 對，在阿拉伯文裡，我的名字是小河的意思，我很喜歡水，因為水很溫柔，也很有力量。水一直往前，也帶給大家生命，所以對我很有意義。

Sharon: 你的爸爸媽媽為什麼幫你取這個名字？

Why did your parents choose this name?

Ghadir: 我爸爸媽媽希望我像水一樣，溫柔、善良，也一直往前，所以幫我取這個名字。

Sharon: 你的中文名字叫「上善」，是怎麼來的？

Your Chinese name is “Shàngshàn.” How did you get this Chinese name?

Ghadir: 我的老師幫我取這個名字。「上善」來自一句很有名的話：「上善若水」。我很喜歡這個名字，因為她跟我的名字有一樣的意思。

Sharon: 如果要用一個中文詞形容自己，你會選哪一個？為什麼？

If you could describe yourself with one Chinese word, what would it be? Why?

Ghadir: 我會選「努力」，因為我喜歡學新的東西，也不會放棄。

Ghadir: 我最喜歡的一句中文是「上善若水」，他提醒我要像水一樣，溫柔、善良，也一直往前。
