Being biracial can be a challenge or it can be simple. It can be neither here nor there or it can be extremely special. It's up to the person to decide, but I see it as an incredible opportunity and privilege to possibly be a bridge that connects people to other people or be a safe place for people to express themselves. 

Folks don't talk about it much but the world is becoming smaller and in the future it will become harder and harder to determine someones background just by looking at them...but its happening now and understanding the differences how we as biracial humans experience the world differently than others is important.
