Continuing from the  last podcast, Mathew will be speaking to Dan about testing developers. Most companies have some of testing process they require developers to do, however many times there seems to be some problems ; 1. Some tests are really easy and the questions can be copied and pasted which proves nothing if developers pass. 2. Some tests have very little to do with the day to day for the job being tested. 3.Some tests do not evaluate the true ability and at times they can be used to turn away good candidates. 4. Every environment is different and it’s hard to assess how someone actually codes. We will be hearing Dan’s view and advice on this topic etc.
