This podcast is going to trigger you.
But understand, we’re coming from tough love.
We’ll be raising your awareness.
Once you’re shown this, you will start to see it.
The thing is, we think we’re growing, changing, evolving…
But we’re not.
It’s not until we look at our progress.
What has actually changed in the last 3, 6, 12 months?
You realise nothing.
You notice there and if you catch it, you’ll notice...
We live with our own lies and excuses.
It’s a false sense of growth, an illusion not many middle-aged men are aware of.
It’s called mental masturbation.
You might say…
“I Listen to Jacko Williks podcast”
“I follow and watch David Goggins motivational videos”
“I read Mark Manson’s “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” book”
Nothing wrong with that.
But so what?
What have you DONE about it?
We get hyped up once a week, twice a week with these “motivational” pieces.
Telling ourselves, and giving ourselves a false dose of growth.
We THINK we’re “DOING THE WORK” but we’re not actually “DOING THE WORK”.
You get a FEELING of doing the “WORK” but you’re not “DOING THE WORK”
That’s the risk.
If we stay in this cycle, nothing changes.
There will be no midlife transition.
Ready to break the cycle?
