From mischief to creative, Azeem is now a writer, hip hop artist, and poet who began his career as a spoken word artist in the 1990's. Once ranked 2nd Best Slam Poet in the nation, Azeem went on to release 6 critically acclaimed Hip Hop albums, was named Best Rapper in the Bay Area in 2004 and has toured 25 different countries with his work. We talked about how and why he went from committing crimes to being creative.
