According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Cleveland is the poorest big city in America. Thirty percent of Cleveland residents live below the poverty level, and half earn less than $20,000 per year. Poverty often also results in homelessness, and for 110 years The City Mission in Cleveland has been helping men, women, and children receive the assistance they need through programs that provide basic needs and tools to overcome obstacles, and achieve self-sufficiency. We welcomed CEO Linda Uveges to help us understand all the services offered by the City Mission as they continue to empower stability through adequate housing and employment.
