Blake and Kathy Collingsworth shares his story about his son Josh who drowned in a backyard pool. It was in June 2008. A warm spring day in June during a family gathering at his home Joshua slipped out of sight for just a few short moments. He was quickly discovered in the backyard pool, unconscious and unresponsive. Blake, not only shares in detail about that day, plus the events that unfolded after leading up to the formation of Josh The Otter. Listen to this episode to hear the full story.

Why their message is connecting with so many people around the country as they share their stories with children through a children's book that Blake wrote. They have grown over this last decade, not just with their message and educating and teaching children. They have just opened a new Aquatics Facility where they have started The Float 4 Life program teaching and certifying swim instructors on their program. To learn more go to float4life.org
