While in Long Beach I met up with current race engineer for Carlin Motorsports Geoff Fickling. He's had an extensive career in motorsports from owning his own F2000/StarMazda team to managing programs for Andersen Racing and Team Pelfrey to engineering Indy Lights cars for Sage Karam, Ed Jones, and Neil Alberico. We dive into topics like daddy issues and how Tony George caused him to lose a girlfriend in high school. He talks about the state of the Mazda Road to Indy and we relive a horrendous race weekend in Road Atlanta from 2006. A true champion and a great interview!
