Stop us if you've heard this one before. A boy is comitted to a mental institution, escapes years later to return home where he goes on killing people that are close to someone from his childhood. Does it sound like John Carpenter's Halloween? Unfortunately that is not the movie we are reviewing, the movie that we had to torture ourselfs watching was The Offerings.
