Falisa shares her parenting journey raising a young creative son from the Chicago projects to his debut on Broadway, as Simba, in the sold-out play, The Lion King. Falisa’s journey from tragedy to triumph and the beautiful collaboration with her husband Wendell is a testimony to every parent pushing to raise kids who don't always fit in society’s perfect mold.
