Do you think you need to be an expert in your field to start a business? Have a passion but feel like you are not qualified enough to pursue it? Do you have deeper purpose in life but you are not sure how to spread your message?
Wanting a business and having a deeper passion for life is a great reason to go out on your own. To spread your message, make a difference in the world, but also make a living from it, to me, is the perfect formula to living a successful and fulfilled life. Your impact on the world is changing peoples lives and isn’t that what it’s all about?
With a growing population, our impact on the world is getting more and more intense. The more of us there are, the harder we are on the environment and it is going to take innovators to come up with solutions that still provide us with our daily needs, but also taking care of the environment as well. By creating conversations and discussing with each other how we can make more conservative decisions towards our future, it will mean that we are taking steps to respect our environment, but also supporting small business that have the same values and goals as well.
Today on the podcast I had the pleasure of chatting with Jenna Bitar who is the founder and director of Cafe Organic, which is a health conscious cafe in Bali and one of the most instagrammable spots in Bali. Jenna had no experience in hospitality, but had a huge passion to spread her sustainability message. She believes sustainability can be cool, by creating beautiful cafes that create an experience with the buyer, from taking photos on instagram, to having a great dining experience and wanting to come back. By being smart with her marketing, Jenna has been able to grow her brand to over 10,000 loyal followers which is amazing! She is proving it is possible to have a deeper vision for the world and make a career from it.
In todays episode we discuss:
What it’s like growing up in Bali and the impact human waste has on the community
How she started Cafe Organic with no experience in hospitality
The importance of a sustainable future and the impact of the food industry on the world
How we can make more conscious decisions with our food
And so much more!
