Ep78: Church Hurt!

The Church is supposed to be a safe space for the broken and wounded. The Church is supposed to be a place of healing for those wounded by others. The Church is supposed to be a place of peace for those wounded by life’s challenges. The Church is supposed to be a place where people can grow in their faith and experience God’s love and grace. But, sometimes that does not happen and in those instances, you can experience one of the ultimate pains of life, “Church Hurt!”

In this episode, I am sharing a very emotional story of hurt, pain, and depression that I experienced at the hands of church folks. This hurt and the pain was very overwhelming and devastating. In my experience, at the time, it caused me to question God's love for me as well as His protection over me. I soon learned that God's grace and mercy were there with me the entire time, I just had to have faith in Him for me and for my family. Check out this very raw and emotional episode of hurt, pain, and transparency.
