"Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the strength and the creative spirit You’ve given Naomi. We praise You for the years she has spent serving the mountain community on the park crew, so that others can find joy and challenge in the park.
Lord, Your Word says in Colossians 3:23, 'Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.' We thank You for the heart Naomi has put into her craft and the wisdom she shares as she passes on those hard-earned knowledge, tips and tricks.
We lift up the injuries she mentioned. We know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your continued healing touch on her back. In moments where those past hurts bring frustration or fear, remind her of Psalm 147:3, that You 'heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.' Give her—and me—the discernment to know when to push our limits and when to rest in Your grace.
As I encounter dead cookies or mashed potato condition, I pray for a spirit of courage. Help me to remember Philippians 4:13, that 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' May every jump and every landing be an expression of the freedom, healing (Achillies) we find in You.
Protect us both as we ride. Grant us sharp minds to see the lines clearly and steady feet to land safely. Above all, let our time in the park be a testimony to Your joy and the beautiful community You’ve placed us in.
In Jesus' name, Amen."
