Shayla McGhee graduated from Spelman College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She then attended the University of Georgia School of Law and is a current member of the State Bar of Georgia.
Payton McGhee has a love for rainbows, unicorns, and of course, travel. In just a few short years, she has had the opportunity to visit Belgium, France, Holland, and London.
The unique mother and daughter tandem hope to build curiosity for travel among young children, increase the number of black characters in books, and inspire other families to explore the world with their little ones.
