I remember going to a supermarket and watching a man stand up in front of crowd and present a sales pitch about a knife that could never go blunt. I didn't need new knives but it was a great sales presentation. Knives were selling like hot cakes. They were going faster than toilet roll during Covid. I had to get one.

I thought later it was more that I just needed one more than the actual knife.
