Last month, EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler wanted to make the fuel economy regulations for cars more lenient, arguing it would decrease pollution in the long run.  Current regulations were already stopping pollution. So did Wheeler want to change standards for the environment? Or politics? When partisanship gets in the way of environmental governance, there's one tool that comes into play: lawsuits.
