As Walt Disney, the man who changed the entertainment industry, got older he worried about the world his grandchildren would grow up in. His answer was a daring and ambitious community of tomorrow he called EPCOT. Borrowing ideas from architect Victor Gruen and Disneyland, Walt Disney and his team created a design for a city that aimed to improve the quality of life for every resident. The only problem, Walt Disney was dying, and it was a race against time to get EPCOT off the ground.
