Inside Epcot's China Pavilion, there is a reverence, intentionality, and meticulous attention to detail that pays homage to this land, its ancient history, rich culture, and the transcendent spirituality of its story and its people.

Safeguarded by a ceremonial gate characteristic of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, the architecture is staggering in both accuracy and majesty, embodying centuries of traditions and stories in every ornate feature. Moving beyond the entrance, shops and street vendors, bursting with color and intrigue, invite us to pause and peruse. Wandering the streets of this pavilion, we get swept up by the elaborate narratives that play out in elegant parasols and whimsical cats, in captivating sights and mouthwatering aromas.

On the right side of the pavilion, the House of Prayer stands sentinel as the crowning jewel of this space. Opulent and adorned with authenticity, this curvilinear space is a place of rest and quiet reflection. It is imperative in its tranquility, beckoning us to find a moment of pause, enveloped by its gentle grace. Outside, charming footbridges carry us into a mindful state of contemplation - past thickets of bamboo and little waterfalls spilling into pools scattered with water lilies.

The ambient music here is, unsurprisingly, as perfectly balanced as its architecture. As we listen, we are, without conscious effort, drawn into a state of Zen. Now, enjoy the sounds of Epcot's China Pavilion.
