Mulling my existence, questioning the fleeting moments that quickly pass us by.
And it all burns down in an infernal blaze,
Turned to ashes before our very eyes.
The good, the bad, the ugly alike;
Nothing spared, not even one.
You run, you hide, you cannot escape,
Life and it's ultimate end.
The truth we know, but yet avoid;
The transience of this ephemeral life.
