Let's look at the way our heavenly Father looks at us. Paul begins the letter with a heart-warming list of spiritual blessings that will enrich all believers in Christ.
Repeated words in the letter: "Father" - loving relationship; "Us" - the church; "In Him" - Jesus is our source for all blessings
Spiritual Blessings:
1. Chosen to be holy and blameless in Christ (vs 4)
2. Predestined for adoption in Christ (vs 5)
3. Accepted (blessed) in the Beloved (vs 6)
4. Redemption and forgiveness in Christ (vs 7-8)
5. Making known to us the plan in Christ (vs 9-10)
6. Inheritance in Christ (vs 11)
7. Sealed with the Spirit in Christ (vs 13-14)
