He had stayed at this hotel for 2 days prior to his death & had extensive communication with someone named "Don". There was many counts of strange behavior & incidents noted by the hotel's staff leading up to his death. The mystery expanded further when police found out that Roland T. Owen didn’t exist. Later he was identified as Artemus Ogletree of Birmingham, Alabama… but to this day, his murder remains unsolved.
