Christopher Wilder, also known as the Beauty Queen Killer, was a serial killer who abducted & raped at least 12 young women and girls, torturing some, and killing at least eight of them, during a six-week, cross-country crime spree in the United States in early 1984. Chris would lure these young women & girls in by posing as a modeling agent & promising the girls a modeling contract if they agreed to allow him to take some photos of them. Wilder's series of murders began in Florida & continued across the country through Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Nevada, and California, and attempted abductions in Washington State and New York State
