Mestra Thais, in her director role at Rocinha Samba School

Bio:

Born and raised in the community of Rocinha, Thaís Rodrigues started in the samba world with G.R.E.S Academicos da Rocinha, where she is part of the directorship. She has played with samba schools such as Portela, Tuiuti, Imperatriz, among others. She is currently a percussionist at Viradouro and Unidos da Tijuca (where she on her 11th year) Adding all these experiences, today she is the master of the "Bateria Feiticeira" of the samba school Feitiço do Rio, heading into her third year of command.
