I want to start a conversation about the power of language and the role of the artist. In this episode I will discuss some of the things that I want to cover over the next few episodes and the purpose of this podcast. I want to introduce my main interest and some of the types of interactions that I want to have with the listeners.

I also want to convince anyone who is listening that the role of poetry goes beyond the written word and synergizes with all other forms of art. Poetry is a state of mind, and I want to help others cultivate it.
