Today's guest on episode #17 of the Sportsfaith Podcast was Jason Lauren of ScoutU. Jason has been scouting high school athletes since 2008 and has helped over 250 of those move on to play college athletics. Jason is a native of Ishpeming, Michigan and a graduate of Northern Michigan University.

Jason talked about all the ins and outs of the college recruiting game and what athletes and families need to focus on to increase their chances of being recruited. We hit on some of the myths of college recruiting including if you are good enough the colleges will find you.

Jason currently resides in Greendale, WI with his wife Laurie, 7 year old daughter Maisey and their yellow-Lab mix Dorsey.
