KJ is solo this week and he gets to talk about a topic that he is extremely fond of, The Evil Dead. Last month the newest movie of this franchise came out and that opening weekend all the Nerdy boys were in attedance. Evil Dead Rise brings this horror escapade away from the woods (for the most part) and into a city's apartment building where there are so many people around yet no one is able to help. This take on the source material is done better than expected and it's why through the entire movie KJ was enthralled with every scene. They didn't have time to build a lot of characters that would ultimately die but they did a great job in the little time they had. This movie has legs and could possibly be the next start into a triology or more. Only time will tell but if there is more you can expect the Nerdy boys to have their tickets (or just KJ dragging the others along).
