According to Dan’s Uncle Andy, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Whilst this may be the case for the population at large, there’s a distinct lack of Christmas cheer around the Saintees at present. You know what though? Sam and Dan reckon they’ll might just be able to turn those festive frowns right upside down, as we bring to you Episode 44 of The Dogger Saints Podcast!

We will admit that it doesn’t start off so cheery, as we have to dissect not one, but two defeats for the Saints, who aren’t so much goal-shy at present but goal-hermits at present, and look at just what needs to be done to somehow rescue this faltering season (spoiler: we don’t know).

You say features? Well even if you didn’t, we’re going to pretend that you did, because we’ve got them by the truckload. We speak to Mike as he becomes the second person to have a stab at deciphering Wendy, we play mibbe aye, mibbe nae at The Royal and we have an utterly ludicrous visit to Govan for this week’s Club Shop of Shame.

We also head the pleasure of chatting to former Saints skipper Davie Irons for this weeks Headline Act, and what a fantastic chat it was as we discussed Davie’s time at Saints, injury problems, management....including Gretna and THAT final day of the season.
