We are Jon and Tain from Essex in the UK, and in this episode we introduce the podcast and explain what it's all about!

Join us on our learning journey to improve our Texas No Limit Hold'em pokers skills, and get good enough to build a bankroll and compete in the world series of poker in Vegas. Our goal is to have a real shot at cashing big, not just seat warming or fluffing the pot for someone else.

We discuss everything from game theory to ADHD and Autism. We have a humble "we are not professionals" openness which we hope brings you, the listener, along for the journey.

Hand analysis is the main focus of each episode, but we (often!) go off on tangents, digging deep in poker ideas and concepts, like pot odds vs win odds, GTO, ranges, minimum defence frequencies, position, stack depths, SPR, ICM and many more.
