If I am to ask my guests to open up and share their stories with us on QUEST FOR FIRE, I think it's only right that I too share my own story.

Here we talk about who I am, & why I am how I am. From growing up a brown kid in south central Nebraska in the 90's, to navigating my own growth and educational journey among the backdrop of 9/11, the 2008 recession, and the Obama years, to my current goals for these modern times. My own personal journey took me from Nebraska to Mexico to Florida to Los Angeles and back to Nebraska, as love and heartbreak, mixed with risk and failure, led the way. 

It's not easy to open up and be vulnerable. It is, however, in these moments that we best connect with our fellow human beings. 

Though we all are different, we also have much more in common than we're led to believe.
