On the show this week our host Antonio Sykes sits down in the studio with the Jamestown Eagles head coach, Seth Thomas to discuss everything from their 15-1 record and player led practices, to his first student teaching postion at North Callaway HS. First off Antonio and Seth discuss the season outlook (1:10) a chat a bit about having players that are self motivated and focused on winning. Then they shift over and talk about a couple upcoming key match up's with the Fayette Falcons (4:10) who are currently ranked No. 5 in Class 2, and the Tuscumbia Lions. At (6:40) Seth touches on the Chamois Pirates and their All-State player Aaron Brandt, before jumping into a chat about Trenton Barbour (9:02) and his unique leardership for the Eagles. (11:18) Seth mentions the triple double that Garrett Wolfe recently laid down with 19 pts. 12 rebounds, and 11 steals. At (12:30) we learn about Austin Flippin and his high energy attitude combined with outside scoring ability and being a great defender. Then the conversation moves over to Seth's path that led him to Jamestown (18:55). At (23:00) into the interview we get to hear a little about Seth's Dad and Brother who both played a key role in his coaching life, before diving into Seth's take on scouting (25:00) and the use of film and apps like Hudl to get his team prepared.
