Welcome to our very first episode of So That Happened!  To kick things off we take a look at Flashdance (1983)

What a freakin’ feeling.  Teenagers chase their dreams and the only one who makes it is the one who probably realistically started too late to achieve said dream.  Also there is some stalking, artsy dancing, nudity and a pretty sweet dog named Grunt.

Flashdance stars Jennifer Beals, Michael Nouri, Lilia Skala, and Lee Ving and was directed by Adrian Lyne.
