Exodus 2 – 4

God often calls the least likely people to do extraordinary things for Him. 

And He tends to recruit from the least likely places.

“God found Gideon in a hole. He found Joseph in a prison. He found Daniel in a lion’s den. He has a curious habit of showing up in the midst of trouble, not the absence. Where the world sees failure, God sees future. Next time you feel unqualified to be used by God remember this, he tends to recruit from the pit, not the pedestal.” ― Jon Acuff

Don’t count yourself lost or forgotten or too rotten to still live a life of purpose. 

Another person’s freedom may be dependent on your obedience. 

When the flame of God feels hot, take off your shoes. You might be standing on holy ground. 

If God calls you, then He will equip you. 

If God calls you, then He will not fail you.

If God calls you, then He will bring you into community b/c we don’t live out our purpose for ourselves. 

If God calls you, respond like Moses did initially when He said, “Here I am.”
